If you have been curious about our Money and Movement retreats but are not quite sure what to expect, this is for you. Because the word “retreat” can mean a lot of different things, and I want to be specific about what this one is and what it is not.
This is not a conference with back-to-back presentations. It is not a wellness weekend where someone burns sage and tells you to manifest abundance. And it is not a financial planning seminar with spreadsheets and pie charts.
It is something far more personal than any of those things.
The shape of the weekend
Our retreats run from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. You arrive, settle into your room, and start to exhale. That first evening is about landing. A beautiful dinner, a chance to meet the other women, and the beginning of a conversation that will deepen over the next two days.
Saturday is the heart of it. Morning movement with Kim McCulloch, who brings over 25 years of experience as a Pilates instructor and nervous system facilitator. Her sessions are not about fitness levels or flexibility. They are about reconnecting with your body, noticing where you hold tension, and building awareness of how physical stress shows up in your decision-making.
Then we move into the money work. These are guided sessions where we explore your relationship with money, not in a textbook way, but in a way that is specific to your life. Your patterns. Your stories. The beliefs you have been carrying, often without realising it.
Saturday evening is something special. A bespoke culinary experience with a private chef and full table service. It is one of those meals you remember, shared with women who now understand something real about you.
Sunday morning brings a final movement session, a closing money conversation, and time to integrate everything before you head home at 3pm.
What actually happens in the money sessions
I am not going to stand at the front of a room and tell you how to budget. You can find that on YouTube.
What we do is deeper than that. We look at the conditioning you grew up with around money. The messages you absorbed from your parents, your culture, your early experiences. We explore how those messages became beliefs, and how those beliefs became the patterns that drive your financial decisions today.
Some women realise they have been avoiding their finances not because they are bad with money, but because looking at the numbers triggers a feeling they have been running from for years. Others discover that their spending habits are directly connected to stress patterns they had never linked before.
This is not group therapy. It is guided coaching in a small, safe setting with a maximum of 10 to 14 women. You share what you are comfortable sharing. There is no pressure, no forced vulnerability, and no one is going to ask you to reveal your bank balance.
You will also get one-on-one time with me across the weekend and a personalised bundle of tools, guides, and resources to take home.
Why movement matters in a money conversation
This is the part that surprises people. Why would a financial wellness retreat include Pilates and nervous system work?
Because your body and your finances are not separate systems. When you are stressed, your nervous system shifts into survival mode. In survival mode, you make reactive decisions. You avoid. You overspend. You freeze. You say yes to things you cannot afford because saying no feels harder than the debt.
Kim’s movement sessions help you notice those patterns in real time. You start to feel the difference between a decision made from calm clarity and one made from a clenched jaw and shallow breathing. That awareness does not just help you on the mat. It changes how you show up to every financial conversation you have afterwards.
Who this is for
Our retreats are designed for women who are capable, high-functioning, and carrying a lot. You might be navigating career growth, parenting, perimenopause, changing energy, shifting identity, or just quietly questioning what the next chapter looks like.
You do not need to be good with money. You do not need to be fit. You just need to be willing to reflect, participate, and give yourself a weekend that is genuinely about you.
If you are the woman who takes care of everyone else first and puts herself last on the list, this is your invitation to do it differently.
What you walk away with
By Sunday afternoon, women consistently tell us they feel lighter. Not because we have solved everything in 48 hours, but because they finally understand what has been driving their behaviour, and they have practical tools to change it.
Specifically, you leave with a renewed connection to your body and practical movement tools. Insights into your money mindset, including the conditioning, beliefs, and blocks that have been shaping your decisions. And the clarity and confidence to prioritise yourself and lead your life with more intention.
Plus the kind of connections that only form when women are honest with each other in a beautiful setting over a long weekend.
